Since  elected I have continuously campaigned for facilities and following a public survey and the launch of a report I ensured that Teenage facilities would be included in our budget for 2019. I can now report that facilities for TEENS will be allocated in our budget 2019 amount 500K

PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS Teen Space Programme As the playspace programme is concluded, delivery of the Teen Space Programme is planned to commence in 2019, with a provision of €500k for 2019.

Astro Pitch Programme Provision of €1,000,000 has been made in 2019 to commence the delivery of an Astro Pitch programme; to commence following the completion of a Sports Pitch Strategy which commenced in 2018.

Sports Pavilions Programme A countywide pavilion construction programme is planned, with Part 8 Public Consultation completed in respect of the first three locations listed in the Pavilion Strategy and Construction Programme agreed for Dodder Valley Oldbawn, Griffeen Valley Park, and Corkagh Park (ORR).
