Griffeen Educate Together new pedestrian gate: Residents have brought a number of concerns to my attention regarding the opening of a new pedestrian gate on Griffeen road. Although the pedestrian gate is welcomed I am raising a number of issues with council management. If you are living in this general area and have concerns please contact me.

Hillcrest residents association: Glad to learn that Hillcrest residents association have restarted their association, shame that there were attempts by a political party to take over the association causing some annoyance amongst residents. Resident Associations should always be non-political ensuring inclusivity. I have asked for a report from the council on the upcoming Newcastle Road trials including schedule and reassurances to address Resident’s concerns. I am always available as an Independent Community Councillor to represent individuals and Resident Associations.
