Childcare Places: The issue of the lack of childcare places continues to be raised with me. At a recent area committee meeting I asked that the Planning Department request statistical data from the County Childcare Committee for current demand on childcare services, such as calls received from parents seeking a placed, calls from service providers seeking accommodation, the number of crèche closed in the last 10 years compared to the number of crèche opened in same period. I await the report and will continue to campaign for better services.

 T-Junction Esker Lane/Esker Manor: New road safety measures will be placed along Esker Manor to help improve the safety at this T-junction. Initially the junction was examined with a view to placing a roundabout on it, however this would not address the sightline issue.  A bus table and warning signage will be installed.
