Irish Water: At this week’s Irish Water clinic, I raised several concerns brought to my
attention. Lucan is primarily served by the Peamount Reservoir, though at times, the supply
has been blended with water from the Leixlip Water Treatment Plant. Given recent reports of
water discoloration, I questioned whether this issue was linked to the recent storm. Irish
Water is continuously addressing multiple leaks in the area. While repairs are ongoing, these
