General Election: Lucan & Palmerstown have three new TD’s, unfortunately none are from the area. Commiseration’s to my Independent Community Alliance colleague Paul Gogarty who missed out on this occasion, he would have been a great representative for Lucan & Palmerstown in the Dail. I will continue to press with my Independent Community Alliance colleagues for the much needed facilities and amenities that we need.
Dog Fouling: Following my work in relation to the dog park, dog bins and litter bins I have requested that the council introduces an “on the spot” fine for dog walkers who do not have in their possession a dog litter bag. Dog fouling is a scourge in our parks and on our footpaths throughout our county.
The final stages of the County Development Plan are been prepared and I am available to discuss any aspect of the plan.
