Lucan Village Defibrillator: Following an initiative I started last year Lucan Village has its first outdoor Defibrillator located at the wall next to Carroll’s Gastro Pub. Thanks to everyone in the community for donating phones. Thanks to Carrolls, DBS Promotion, Scoil Áine Naofa, McDonalds and all members from Lucan Operation Transformation. Members of the community including local Gardai have also received cardiac responder training.

Canonbrook Safety Measures: Following deputations and meetings with Cannonbrook residents, I can confirm that council management have agreed to install a median strip at the entrance to Canonbrook and a pencil thin island as far as the first right turn. It is intended to carry out the construction works during the Easter holidays. These measures should help to eliminate the nuisance and potentially dangerous parking in the area.
