Multi-Use Games Area: My motion this week asking South Dublin County Council management to consider providing a Multi- Use Games Area for Lucan has been tabled for 2016. A facility of this type would cater for children of all ages. I have been working in the background on this with council management since elected and it has been received very positively.
HGV Restriction: I continue to ensure correct and additional signage is in place for the HGV restriction on Newcastle road and to ensure enforcement is improved.
Angling Stand: Following my motion to install angling stands, including wheelchair accessible stands for Watertown Park, Palmerstown, the council have agreed to carry out an assessment of the banks of the River Liffey in Waterstown Park. I believe if the riverbank is suitable then it could become a great amenity and tourist attraction for the area.
