NTA to Meet Local Cllrs: At this week’s Area Committee meeting my motion was passed
requesting that the National Transport Authority (NTA) attend a future meeting to allow
for direct discussion on the bus network serving our area.

Following discussions the NTA has now agreed to meet with local councillors to examine
these issues in detail. This is great progress and something I have been advocating for on
behalf of the people I represent.

There will be two meetings (1) initial meeting (2) more technical session where we will have
the opportunity to go through the key challenges and future plans for the local bus network.

In advance of these meetings, I’ll be reaching out to residents to gather your feedback. Please
send in your issues/experiences so I can compile a full list to bring forward to the NTA.
