Arthur Griffith Roundabout: Following my motion passed at this week’s Lucan Area meeting, I requested that the Chief Executive examine the possibility of installing zebra crossing’s at the roundabout on the Griffeen road/Esker road which would link the two Griffeen parks providing a continuous pedestrian and cycling route through the 3 sections of the Griffeen parks. Council management have committed to examining my proposal further.

Update Arthur Griffith proposed Pedestrian: The council are carrying out a traffic count at this location with a view to installing a pedestrian crossing. I have worked on this matter for a number of years and will continue to pursue.

Motions/Questions: At this week’s Lucan Area meeting I have made representations in the following areas/issues: Moyglass, Ashpark, Esker Road and Griffeen Road / Bus route along the Outer Ring Road, Play space updates, School Traffic assessment study.
