Bus Shelters: At this week’s area committee meeting I had a motion passed requesting that the council management and the NTA examine how the lighting at bus shelters can be improved.  If you know of a bus shelter that lacks adequate lighting and needs to be examined, do get in touch.

12^th Lock Masterplan: It’s planned to present councillors with a presentation of the 12^th Lock Masterplan at the March full council meeting. Council management and designers have been liaising with local councillors and relevant stakeholders and it’s hoped that a part 8 draft plan will be published soon after.

Griffeen Valley Petanque Club: Delighted to see this new sports club formerly set up and funded by South Dublin Sports Partnership and Public realm, do check out the new facility in Griffeen Valley Park (Newcastle Road) the back of the hockey pitch!
