Age Friendly Housing: A proposed plan to build 6 new units at Sarsfields Park as part of the council’s age friendly policy was brought before councillors at last months meeting and following this the council management then contacted residents in Sarsfield’s Park to consult with them. I have since received a number of emails in relation to the proposed plan where a number of concerns were raised. I highlighted these concerns at Tuesday’s area committee meeting. As advised at the meeting local councillors do not have a vote on part 8’s given the change in legislation recently, however I will endeavour to work closely with the residents on this issue. Thanks to all the residents for brining their concerns to my attention.

 Obscene Graffiti: I have requested council management to remove the graffiti that’s appeared in several places in the Lucan area.
