Lucan schools/science competition: Well done to the girls from sixth class, Scoil Áine Naofa who won the regional finals in the Mini-Scientist competition which took place in Intel. Statistics provided by Sarah Sexton from Intel states that for every 9 male Intel employees there is only 1 female. We need more female scientists! The girls will be representing Lucan at the grand finals in Trinity this Friday. We wish you all the best. Well done to the students from CBS in Lucan village who were winners at BT Young Scientist.

Security: Two women were victims of snatch and grab thefts(separately) this week in Lucan while making their way home after getting of bus’s.
