Bus Shelter Repairs: I am pleased to share that my motion regarding safety concerns at the
bus stop shelter on Esker Road (Stop No. 3368) was passed. It calls on the National Transport
Authority (NTA) to take immediate steps to address issues raised by locals, including:
Exploring temporary lighting solutions to ensure adequate visibility at the bus stop.
Expediting plans to replace the existing shelter with one that meets modern accessibility and
safety standards. Improving visibility by managing overgrown vegetation around the area. A
formal letter will be sent to the NTA. I will keep residents updated on progress.
I want to extend my congratulations to Helen Farrell on her nomination onto South Dublin
County Council as a co-op member. As an independent local councillor, I am delighted to
warmly welcome Helen in her new role.
