School Program 2016: The Minister for Education, Jan O’Sullivan announced this week that a number of schools in Lucan have been included in the major list for construction commencement in 2016. I welcome the news and commend the Board of Managements and Parents of the respective schools for their continued efforts to ensure their schools. As a chair of a school Parents Association and a board member of a number of Schools I will continue to monitor progress and ensure that we get the best school extensions possible for our children.
2016 Commemoration: Well done to the Lucan groups who were successful in their grant applications. I was glad to be of assistance and facilitated their applications and look forward to working with them over the coming months as a member of the 2016 Commemoration committee for South Dublin County Council
