New ‘pétanque’ club: Delighted to see a new sports club in Lucan full of new members young and old. Griffeen Valley Pétanque Club meets every Sunday at 12pm and Wednesday at 6:30pm. This is such an enjoyable sport and I was glad to assist Owen in setting up this fantastic club.

Lucan House: Further to the news released at Mondays council meeting regarding the Lucan House in the village I can report the following: “SDCC has secured agreement in principle for the purchase of Lucan house. This is subject to contract and the normal rigors of conveyancing and is currently very early in the process.”

Lucan Community College extension: glad to receive news this week that the LCC has progressed to Stage 3 of their school extension, however the work continues. I am committed to working alongside relevant stakeholders ensuring its delivery.
