An Post Delivery: I have received numerous complaints from residents across Lucan
regarding ongoing delays in postal deliveries including important letters and parcels. I have
tabled a motion for the upcoming Lucan Area Committee meeting requesting that the Council
write formally to An Post seeking clarification and improvements. If you have experienced
delays please email me with details so I can collate the issues and strengthen the case for
action.

Under the proposed variation to the County Development Plan arising from National
Planning Framework directives a significant proportion of additional residential zoning is
earmarked for the Lucan area, including lands from Liffey Valley towards Adamstown.
Approximately 64% of the county’s proposed additional units are planned here. Public
consultation is expected mid-February. I strongly encourage residents to review the plans and
make a submission to ensure Lucan’s voice is clearly heard.
