Footpath: Following a number of motions and questions I submitted in relation to the provision of footpath between the Irish Wheelchair Association and Lucan Sarsfields, I’m delighted to report that works are being carried and should be completed in time for the summer camps next week. This will ensure that cyclists/pedestrians now have a footpath all the way to Sarsfields.
Station Road Adamstown: Following my request council management have repaired the path/cycleway outside the schools on station road in Adamstown. If there are any outstanding requests logged on “fix your street” which have not been addressed please get in contact and I will follow-up.
HGV restriction: I continue to ensure that the HGV restrictions on the Newcastle road is enforced. I have a council motion for discussion next Monday requesting details on number of fines issued over the last 12 months.
