I’m pleased to share that my motion to bring the HSE to an upcoming local committee
meeting has passed. We’ll now be issuing a formal letter requesting a HSE representative to
join us, where they’ll provide updates and address healthcare concerns directly with the
committee. Many of you have shared frustrations about GP shortages, long waiting lists, and
other healthcare access issues here in Lucan. As our community grows, the demand on local
health services keeps increasing, making it even harder for residents to get timely care.
Having the HSE attend our meeting will give us a chance to understand the challenges from
their perspective and to explore possible solutions to improve local healthcare access.I’ll keep
you updated on any response from the HSE and will continue pushing for better access to
health services for our community.
