MOTION: Councillor L. O’Toole

“That this Council confirms that the proposed modification at the Hillcrest/ Newcastle road junction to be made available to the public and reviewed by the Councillors and any changes will initially only be implemented as a trial basis. If the results of the trial are not favourable that the Council agrees to revert the junction to its original state.”

REPORT:

Proposals for the installation of a mini-roundabout at this location are currently being finalised and will be discussed with the Area Committee Members in the New Year.
