Newcastle Road HGV Restriction: I have received confirmation from Garda Traffic Department that the Statutory Order putting in place the HGV restriction on the Newcastle Road has been enacted and is now subject to enforcement.

Following my discussions with the Council advance warning signs are being erected on the N4 / R120 Interchange and one sign at Newcastle Road / Nangor Road Junction.

Pelican Crossing on Esker Road: After many years of campaigning for additional road safety features I can confirm a pelican crossing shall be installed on Esker Road, adjacent to the entrance to the park at Finnstown Abbey, within next 3 to 4 weeks.
