Update for Griffeen Community College: The Department of Education has issued a Letter
of Acceptance to Rhatigan ABM Ltd., the contractor, officially allowing work on our new
school building to begin as of November 12, 2024. This is a major milestone that brings us
closer to our new school building. and I’m grateful to everyone who helped us reach this
point. The Department will keep us updated as progress continues.
I’m also honoured to announce my appointment as Chair of Griffeen Community College and
Adamstown Community College.
Our 2025 budget is set to be agreed this week, I can confirm a pilot for solar bins in our
county an initiative I've advocated for. Funding for youth facilities in Adamstown, another
project I've campaigned for. I’ll share the full budget report soon!
