Defibrillator Expansion
My motion was passed at the area committee meeting, calling on the council to explore
introducing outdoor public defibrillators beyond council buildings. I also passed a motion
requesting the Gardaí to explain why these life-saving devices are not installed in all stations,
especially 24-hour ones.
New Footpath
I’m pleased to confirm that, following my efforts, a new link path from Woodview Heights to
Tandy’s Lane is included in the 2025 Improvement Works Programme. The works will be
carried out in consultation with the transport section to ensure a safe and well-designed
connection.
Lucan Christmas Tree Event
Following my motion, the council will engage with the Lucan Festival Committee on plans
for the Christmas Tree event. The Village Green works, including festive lighting power
points, are progressing, with completion expected by September 2025.
