ADDITIONAL ZONING IN LUCAN HAVE YOUR SAY BEFORE 13 MARCH
There is still time to make submissions on Proposed Variation No. 2 to the South Dublin
County Development Plan but the deadline is fast approaching. As of Wednesday evening,
only 38 submissions have been received, most from Lucan residents.

Proposals include additional residential zoning at Tubber Lane North (500), Adamstown SDZ
West (1,000), Finnstown Castle (1,000), St. Edmundsbury (1,398), Liffey Valley (1,500),
Stonewall (Modular homes)(132), Foxhunter (37) and long-term lands at Adamstown South
& West with potential for 5,000–8,000 units.

If residents have concerns or comments they must submit them through the official
consultation process before Friday 13 March. After that it will be too late to influence this
stage.
