Here you will find all the formal Motions and Questions I have raised through the Full Council meetings(ie 40 Councillors representing all of SDCC), Lucan Area Council meetings and other formal Council meetings. Motions are generally debated in the chamber and the elected members then vote to pass/reject the motion. Formal questions are not debated or discussed at the meetings but a formal response from the Council is provided to all elected members prior to the meeting.
Just because a motion is passed by the elected representatives does not mean it will be implemented. In some cases the Council or Council CEO has executive powers which overrule the elected members and in other cases there may be no budget available.
